Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Chief Operating Officer James Terwilliger has been named president of Steward Health Care's St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center.

The number of medical school slots and residencies just don’t match, said Cambridge Health Alliance psychiatry resident Gabriel Felix. “If we have a certain number of people graduating, particularly in this country, they should be able to have the opportunity to have a job,” he said.

“If you’re born with the right genetics, it can first appear in young kids to people in their 80s or 90s,” said Dr. Joseph D. Feuerstein, gastroenterologist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.
