June 2008 - Health Fair and Public Health Champion Award
On June 23rd, Conference of Boston Teaching Hospitals held their third annual community benefits health fair at the State House. Participating hospitals showcased their community benefit programs and provided health education information and screenings for legislators, staff and visitors to the State House.
The health fair was kicked off by COBTH Chair Dr. James Mandell who presented Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino with COBTH's 2008 Public Health Champion Award.
